Monthly Ketchup: July 2025
Hello August. I guess that means it’s time for a quick recap of July. Here we go!
Events
July had 2 street fairs, both were new to me. The first one was the Mississippi Street Fair. This was a great event that was also one of the longest single day events that I’ve done before. Despite the heat, there was a nice breeze that kept me from melting. Tons of people showed up to this event too! The top selling categories for me were Art Prints, Woodcut Art and Hats.
The second street fair was the Montavilla Street Fair. Again, this one was new to me in an area that I haven’t sold my art in. The weather was just right. There were some clouds for shade and the temperature wasn’t too hot. Lots of people showed up to this event too. In fact quite a few people that were at the Mississippi Street Fair came here too. The top selling categories were Art prints, stickers and hats.
Projects
The Rose City Comic Con is quickly approaching. This past month has been spent getting art sent to production so that I can have things in time for the comic con. I have some new items in hand right now and quite a few other items that will hopefully arrive by the end of the month. So, the various projects have involved creating new art and recreating old art.
One of the projects that I need to get started on is a new batch of woodcut wall art. I’m planning to do more ghosts, skulls and woodcut worms. So keep an eye out on Instagram for progress shots.
Drawings
This little newsletter keeps plugging along! Here’s what I drew for the newsletter this past month.
Thanks July for being so productive! Hello August, we need to keep that productivity going. 🙌
