Monthly Ketchup: June 2025
Hello! Another month has passed. Here’s what happened in June.
Events
It’s been another busy month in the events department. I was a vendor at 2 Pride themed events: one in Hillsboro and one in Beaverton. Both events had great weather. I sold a bunch of art and got to see how my art makes people smile. That never gets old. The top selling category at events has been art prints, so I’ve been leaning into more art!
I also got the opportunity to be a featured artist at Primo Espresso in Tigard. They have a really great art wall dedicated to the artists, so I took full advantage. I created a special display system for my art prints which was a fun challenge.
Projects
Lots of new art added to the shop including the newest batch of woodcut art, stickers and prints. I also reworked the art prints section of the website so the mini prints have a dedicated space and special deal.
Right now, I’m looking ahead towards September’s Rose City Comic Con. I’ve been working on new art so that I can get things in production and in hand by the end of August. I also started working on the next phase of my booth setup. I’m hoping to have it locked in for the Comic Con.
Drawings
Aside from all the product-based art, I’ve been able to draw and color regularly thanks to this newsletter! It does a great job of making sure I draw each week.
Client Work
I’m still working on a new picture book. It’s been challenging to balance all the projects so I’ve been slowly chipping away at this one. I’m making progress, even though I wish I were further along.
Goodbye June and hello July! I have 2 events scheduled, both are street fairs in the Portland area!
