Monthly Ketchup: October 2025

Monthly Ketchup: October 2025

Oh, hello November… where did October go? It was here a second ago…

Events
October was a good month. A busy month, but a good month. I had 2 events for the month.

The first event was in Bend for the Bend Fall Festival. I’ve never done an event in Bend before so this was an exciting change of pace. Normally I shy away from outdoor events in October, but since this was in Bend, I figured the chances of dry weather were high and I was right! The weather was great. It was a little chilly in the mornings, but it warmed up and there was plenty of sun and clouds. The crowds were good too. Lots of people at this event and fortunately for me, a lot of them stopped by my booth to buy my art!

The second event of the month was in Salem for the Market for the Strange. This was a smaller event, but still a fun one. This event had so many unique vendors selling their weird and unique goods. Families also showed up with their kids to do a little trick r’ treating too!

In addition to the events, I had my art up on display at two places for the month: Insomnia Coffee at Reed’s Crossing and Bees and Beans in St. Johns.

Projects
Lots and lots of stuff happening! I’ve been working on an alternate version of my booth for an event in December that mixes Christmas and Halloween vibes. I have a bunch of new stuff in the works: new prints, woodcuts, ornaments, greeting cards, other stuff that I can't remember...

Drawings
Hooray for me! I was able to keep up with the weekly newsletter doodles. Here’s what I drew for the month of October.

On top of the regular weekly newsletter drawings, I added a daily doodle challenge for the month. Check out this short video recap:

November will be a little bit lighter with events, but that’s because December is going to be bonkers! I have a lot to do for the next few weeks! Hopefully I can survive it all!
