Weekly Ketchup: March 7th, 2025
This week got busy, partly because of the realization that I have an event this weekend!
Event Prep
I’ll be participating in the Buckman Art Show & Sell this weekend. It’s going to be a smaller space than I’m used to. I’ll be doing a lighter setup using just one 6ft table. Below is a test setup to make sure my plans will work out. I don’t want any surprises when I go to set up my space.
Worms
I finished up 2 more desktop worms just in time for the Buckman show. These are quite fun and turn out well. I want to experiment more with them and am considering making more in the future.
Drawing
For this week’s doodle, I drew another landscape island. These are really fun and calming. I’m thinking about making a bunch of these drawings, then collecting them into a new coloring book later this year. Join my newsletter and you can get access to a free downloadable coloring sheet version of these types of drawings.
Client Work
I spent a good portion of my week working on client projects. I’m still illustrating a picture book, which I’ll probably be working on the for the next few months. I also spent the rest of my client time building out animations for a Youtube channel called The Coding Train.
Overall, it was a good week filled with lots of drawing. Those are the best weeks really.
