Events
Last weekend was the Spring Crafty Wonderland Craft Market. Those events are always fun to be a part of. I get to see all my vendor friends and sell art to new and returning people. It’s also an opportunity to try out new booth arrangements. The next event for me is the St. Johns Bizarre. Once that’s done, I’ll get a nice break from events until June.
Photoshoots
I still have product that I haven't photographed and listed yet. I kind of fell behind in that aspect, plus I have a few new things, so I spent some time getting things photographed. Next week, I’ll be doing a shop update with the new art.
Drawing
This week’s newsletter doodle was a fun little process. When I sat down to start drawing, I didn’t know what to draw. I figured I would do another landscape, but what would it be? Then the idea of an island with some giant crystals growing out of the mountain popped into my head. Most of the time, I try to restrict myself to the allotted time because of my busy schedule but I let myself really explore this one. I still feel like there is more to explore, but this is what I drew yesterday.
Client Work
I’ve been working on 2 picture books for the past couple of months. This week, I spent a good deal of time getting all the pages sketched on the second book. It’s taking shape!
